At MWS-Training we offer a number of different powerboat courses.
We run a number of courses on the water including RYA Powerboat Level 1 and 2 and have a range of boats available. Courses are run weekly and if you have 2 people wanting to take a course we will arrange a date around you.
This course is in effect a scaled down version of Level 2 focussing purely on the practical handling elements of Level 2 offering a great introduction to powerboating. During the course all the time is spent on the water practicing manoeuvres but there is also time to look at the safety aspects of boating. There are no classroom-based theory sessions.
The Minimum age for this course is 8 years old and they are normally run on a Thursday during the holidays.
A two day course covering manoeuvres at high and low speed in a variety of craft, enabling you to operate a powerboat safely and with confidence. You'll have the chance to try out both tiller and console craft as well as a more powerful craft. Full safety precautions are observed and participants are responsible for the preparation and storage of the powerboats used to make them fully sufficient.
Please note: Level 1 is NOT required for entry to Level 2 and most adults go straight in at Level 2.
Powerboat Improver - 1 Day
This 1 day course is built to your needs, and covers some extra tips and tricks to make your boating experience more enjoyable. It is all on the water with no classroom time. This course is also beneficial to those who have been qualified for a while but not had a chance to get out on the water.

A course for the whole family, Get on the water this year and gain experience on the water you will also get certification so you can hire boats and can also gain your ICC to hire boats abroad.
